peace like a river, unique like the silver skylines.

Like the grease on a tightened bolt,

a pregnant woman delivered of a baby,

a cool breeze in hot weather,

a balm calming, soothing and relieving pain,

comfort in distress, rest in stress,

peace like a river, giving relief like a lever.

Peace is what is needed after the tension,

after pressure, pleasure is needed,

after flooding and disaster comes relief,

weary, weak, even the strong needs peace,
