After someone you loved dies
You tell yourself you need to move on
You have to let go
You tell yourself to stop hurting and continue living life
And when you finally get out from the hell hole
Your first sight of the sun
Your first step away from the shadow
Something at the back of
your mind tells you -
Pricks your guilt nerve
And you start to think that you have betrayed them
That you do not love them anymore
And like that
You slip back to the shadows
And even further and deeper than the beginning
But you loved them, you still do
It's only right to move on
Because they would love to see you happy too
From wherever they are
It's okay to grieve and also to move on
They would have wanted you to continue living
To achieve the things they couldn't
