Every man wants to sound his horn
Regardless of whose ox is gored in the process
Every man wants everything to himself
Without asking himself where he'd keep them
We seem to focus on ourselves without consideration for others
I never said don't love yourself, I'm only saying be more human
The world is aching and bleeding
Every institution is not making it easy for anyone
We are all that we have in a world as this
We shouldn't be the ones dragging each other down
Or making another man's field turn brown
We know a secret that can make another better
We intentionally withhold it and take amusement in seeing others bitter
Their bitterness won't in anyway make you better than you already are
So what's the ego and battle of wits for?
To show you are better placed than another?
Forgetting that there are others better than even you?
Don't be proud because you have bread to eat
Have you forgotten someone owns that bakery?
What's the essence of life if it's not to make others better off?
We are all that we have and we are expected to show considerations to others
Treat others how you would want to be treated
Remember where you are coming from; to keep you grateful
Ponder on where you are heading; to keep you humble
No doubt, we rise also by lifting others
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
