Some pick fight with you and you don't understand
Some spread gossips and you begin to wonder why
Nothing is certain in life but some things are:
Death, taxes, change and the complexity of humans
I've learnt never to think too much over a situation
Sometimes I just sit back, relax and watch things unfold
It's not every time I have to raise my voice and scold
Sometimes keeping quiet, taking a step back can be bold
Because only then can they realize what's wrong and come back
After you must have taken the initial step towards peace, of course
Life can be funny sometimes but humans are the clowns in it
We make things unnecessarily hard when they shouldn't have been
