What is written in those letters doesn't matter,
what matters is that you've moved from before,
to become better.
Yeah, your heart may be sober
over the revenge, you couldn't take,
the pains you couldn't give to others,
the wounds you've nursed alone,
but the smoke and the ashes from the burning past,
is burning your anger away,
to give you a new start.
Why carry unnecessary cargoes
when you can easily watch it go and flow away
as a piece of paper floats on water.
Why harbour so much trauma,
when you can easily watch your life
change from gory scenes to glorious scenes.
Why cleave to your shortcomings
when you can embrace your bloomy upcoming.
You have no idea,
of the relief from the past.
Burn it away and forget the ashes,
don't look back while burning,
lest you change your mind
and keep the unburnt part.
Burn it away totally and begin a new page of yourself.
Though it is hard and difficult to start over,
with time, you'll surely come over
and from coming over, you'll overcome
those things that look extremely impossible.
And again, you'll be on the bright side of life.
