My life is definitely a simple one

I learnt never to take life too seriously

I always look forward to the next thing

And I think ahead of any eventualities too

Even though in this life, you can't be fully prepared for everything

I have enjoyed help from every corner

I have enjoyed help from known and unknown 

I know what it means to be down and then rise

I know what it means to be unknown and raise through

I know what it mean not to have and to have

I have been dealt with life from unimaginable places

This however changed my perspective

Even though I have always been simple, irrespective

I see everyone as important without being selective

I also see through every known heart that seeks to be manipulative

I overlook a lot and it is by choice to the that elective

Because I know life deals with us all differently

We all have stories and others don't have that chance to tell it

We all have dreams, at least but some struggle to sell it

You might be seated next to a broken soul and you wouldn't know

I have learnt to be tender with people from the get-go

I have been helped many times and that's why I help too

I am not bothered if any intention was read into my gesture

I know deep down my intention and I hold that posture

Life will either bless you or bury you, they say

It is never about what was said about you that matters

It is what you say to yourself when they are done talking

I can see so many people's tears in litre

I try to do my best to make people better

That's what life should be about - receiving and giving

To whom much is given, much is expected too

Life is all about finding that balance
