What About Crypto?

“Cryptocurrency is such a powerful concept that it can almost overturn governments” –Charles Lee, Creator of Litecoin

This week we are narrowing our focus onto the heart and soul of current blockchain technology: cryptocurrency. We will be diving into specific projects, and talking about our personal favorite platforms! Crypto has the power to remove power from central banks, and governments. Crypto allows the market to function separate from government regulation, and that is going to make life better for all parties. These trustless networks were once a foreign and bizarre concept to people; but as we have seen over the past months and weeks, crypto markets are heating up and exploding with growth. So this begs the question: what can crypto do? I think a better question would be, what can crypto NOT do? Because it’s applications can be anything that money or credit cards can be, but it is so much more at the same time. Ethereum (ETH) is probably my personal favorite cryptocurrency out there, and not only is Ethereum a cryptocurrency you can exchange for goods or services, it is a full blown network in which you can build endless smart contract applications and protocols. These Cryptocurrencies have created a new way of thinking about the concept of money, finance, and how we interact with the world around us. Stay tuned for what this week has in store as we discuss these incredible decentralized creations.      Written by Caleb Hogan from on February 15, 2021
