Scandinavian, Trädandar are shape-shifting tree Fairies that dwell amidst the tree boughs.
They softly speak to each other among the wind whispering through fluttering leaves. The legend has it that the deceased souls of folks, transform into tree spirits upon death. They may transform into youthful women or owls that travel at night.
These nature spirits have been known to care for their surrounding environment and may be observed flittering on the crown of trees.
There are other nature spirits that are similar such as the Dryad. Greek tree spirits which, according to legend will morph into an attractive woman.
So remember to be kind to trees, you never know who resides in them and plant several. Your trees just may house eco-friendly fairies like the Trädandar.
