Tips for Assembling a Team of Heroes

The first thing all player will be faced with is what Hero(s) should they start the game with? The answer depends on how much money you are willing to spend in the game as the price varies depending on the Faction and how many stars you want to upgrade your Hero(s) to. First off, Light Heroes are the strongest of all the Hero(s) and also the most expensive to upgrade and you should bear this in mind when starting out at the beginning. If you don't have min 1000 MBOX to invest, i would suggest sticking with the other factions. Try to collect all heroes from the same faction to benefit from the bonus stats applied.

Light Heroes

This lineup is capable of competing with the highest ranked players in Moland Defense on the Arena & Chapter Leader boards.

Top 2 Alternate Faction Heroes

#1 Alt Choice

Star Faction

The first 5 Heroes are key to challenging the top ranked players with the 6th choice being your personal preference but if your going for DPS, Star Vanguard is the perfect 6th Hero. This squad, if with enough combined stars, can defeat teams with all Light Heroes.

#2 Alt Choice

Sun Faction

This squad is also capable of competing at a very high level in the Chapter Challenges with Frost savant as one of the main slow down/crowd control Hero to compliment the other 4 DPS Heroes along with War Goddess the perfect support Hero who gives a boost to all Heroes during battles. This is my personal favorite Team, which i currently use but not only for these game modes, i will get to why later.

Legion Trials & Legion Instance

In these game modes, for players with the highest power, I would focus on assigning the following Heroes to Trials & Instances taking advantage of the 1000 range. Note that high power players should focus on DPS and the lower power players on CC/Slow Down. Below are my favorites for DPS in Legion battles:

  

The above 2 Light Heroes are for players who have invested in this Faction


This is the #1 Hero to use if you want someone outside the Light Faction, He is the most valuable Hero outside the Light Faction.

These Heroes utilize the Long Range to deal more DMG in these modes than the AOE, especially if you invested some MBOX to get them to at least 3 Red Stars.

The players with the lower combat power can focus on crowd control or slow down if need be.

Overall, try to stay with a single faction as soon as you have the ability to do so. The permanent boost to stats really comes in handy in the Arena and Chapters where you will need to place in the leader board to earn MBOX & MEC.

All Factions outside Light have arguably similar results in the chapters, relic exploration and epic battles, with some bias going to the Star Faction because of Riot Zealot's Special Skill. Taking into consideration the boost from the equipped MOMOs, results may vary.
