Army Of Crypto — Trading Card Game
Development continues on the upcoming release of Army of Crypto, a Trading Card Game launching on the Onixcoin Blockchain designed specifically for independent game developers. This game uses prominent figures in the blockchain community as inspiration for each character along with the story behind Army of Crypto. The game’s theme is based on an intense battle between the government and the army of crypto, who should control the digital economy and the direction in which this revolutionary technology should take, Centralization or Decentralization or a mixture of both. Each character in the game has a unique story, artwork, abilities and stats which would be represented by a digital collectable card stored on the blockchain network in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT). The ownership of an NFT is recorded in the blockchain’s distributed ledger(this process is usually called Minting), and can be transferred by the owner, allowing NFTs to be sold and traded.
The game will be free-to-play and each player will have access to a random deck of cards to earn the in-game currency(Hertz) by completing the daily arena challenges. The cards in the deck used as a free player will not be NFTs and cannot be sold or traded. Free to Play users will have a limited amount of arena battles in which they can earn Hertz. Everyday you will get the chance to earn Hertz by participating in the Arena. You can then use Hertz to swap for ONIX(the native coin of the Onixcoin Blockchain) to buy your own premium card deck to increase your power.
Owning premium collectable cards (NFTs) allows you to access more features in the game such as Legendary Battles where you can earn more Hertz Tokens as well as chances to wager/bet up to 2 premium cards (NFTs) per battle. NFT Cards can be upgraded to increase stats and boost the chances of success in battles. There will be several achievements in which each player can complete to earn rewards and Hertz. The Hertz token can be swapped for ONIX which can be used to purchase premium card decks from the Onixcoin marketplace or swapped for your desired currency.

The game will also have a unique feature, where selected info from the twitter platform will be extracted into the game along with a built-in chat to communicate with friends. This data will be used to see which coins/tokens are trending on that given day to give your Army of Crypto a stats boost for the given time period the coin/token is trending. You can easily host battles and invite your friends to come play using the chat feature.
These battles can either be made private, whereas a pass-code is required to enter, which has been set by the initiator. When the privacy is not set, anyone that meets the requirements can join the battle. Battles are categorized by “Type” which goes from Soldiers, Generals and Legendary where you need to own one of the collectable cards associated with the “Battle Type” e.g Legendary, to enter into the battle. Magic cards are the 4th card type and they can be used to give your army a much needed advantage in battle. Finding the right combination of cards to create a winning strategy for battle will take creativity and experience.
The Alpha version is set to be released in Q4 2022 for Web Browser and the Onixcoin Marketplace will be available in Q3 to buy and trade the Premium Collectable Cards (NFTs) for Army of Crypto.
