What has been the Chain of Custody? Nothing like a chain of custody exists prior to today. I wonder if the auction winner will force the sale to be recorded on a blockchain to preserve current history?
What do we know about Sotheby's? The 277 year old British Auction house (put that in context it is older than America)
- Sotheby's is trying to target the Crypto new rich with this auction
- They are currently holding the auction for the Enigma and one of the payment options is Crypto (BTC, ETH and/or USDC)
When is the Sotheby's auction - Feb. 3-9
What is the Auction Reserve for the Enigma? Currently the 555.55 carat diamond is being offered without a reserve
What happens if The Enigma is sold for Crypto? The transaction will take place via Coinbase Commerce, hopefully it won't end up in the Kardashian family as they would try wear it or have it surgically inserted somewhere.
