Meter Passport - the Chainlink of InterOp - Now supports Theta
What is Meter Passport? It is a a leading cross-chain bridge connecting blockchains. Put another way it enables free flow of assets across blockchains such as Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain., Ethereum and now (Oct. '21) Theta! Don't forget Meter Passport is the leader for cross-chain bridge for both Ampleforth, Kusama, Polkadot. Being a participant here on Publih0x you should have some Ampleforth.
Why is this important? Free moving assets a hugely important to all Digital Assets, here in the US access to Theta is still super restricted. However, when we reach a price target of several thousand dollars I want to be able to sell some of my position. This bridge enables that to happen!
What is being offered now? TFUEL & TNT20 token movements are currently supported. While Theta itself still has more development that must take place. Look for the next Theta mainnet to support Meter Passport. Relax its already being tested on the Theta Testnet which bodes well for all.
Follow the Money (Who backs Meter Passport? DHVC & Pantera Capital are two huge backers for Meter, which helps me understand the level this can reach quickly.
What type of Fee(s) can we expect? I have yet to try this Bridge and will update when I have actual experience with these costs.
Summary - I expect a lot more great features and tokens support from Meter Passport. However, I am really excited that Theta is now available.
