LL Cool J going back to Crypto

My inspiration for that wording was way back in 2018 LL's character on the TV Show NCIS Los Angles was investigating missing Cryptocurrencies. Yes, I am sorry had to go there - yeah I ripped off his going back to Cali verse.

Turns out LL is investing into the freshly formed North Island venture fund with a value of $72M already.

Why invest with these guys?  Well turns out the names on the backer list are Top Shelf if ya know what I mean.  Paul Tudor Jones, Former Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi and Apollo co-founder Josh Harris.

So who is at the Helm of North Island Venture funds? Glenn Hutchins who was the co-founder of the tiny Silver Lake Partners - yeah tiny is a stab they are worth about $39B.  Recall Hutchins started taking interest in Crypto's back in '15.

Summary - Crypto's take another step towards mainstream investing adoption!
