"France is more African than Morocco" is the trending phrase in Africa today. Reasons is that Morocco failed to mention Africa when they qualified for the semi finals. Yet Morocco is still an African team and if it won the World Cup in 2022 it will have been glory for Africa.
Morocco is the only African team that qualified for the semi finals. They were to face it out with France, a game played Yesterday. However France won over the African team with a 2-0 margin. The two goals were scored by Theo Hernandez and Hugo Lloris. They dashed the the hope of Morocco playing in the finals.
France now will battle it out with Argentina for the World Cup winners trophy. World Cup is an event where the whole world stops to watch as the teams battle it out till they get the winner.
FIFA World Cup was founded in 1930 and has been with us for 92 years. The team which will win this year 2022 will join other winners like

If Morocco would have qualified and won, it would have been the first time for an African country to win. Otherwise they did well and congratulations to them.
