Bits of coin to guide your journey

If you have followed my blog then you know I'm a novice in the crypto game and I'm finding unique ways to learn hard lessons the easy way. I found a project recently that I think is good for newcomers. Because let's be honest I have talked in earlier post about how using faucets is a great way to accrue crypto without investing large amounts of money blindly but let's be real they can quickly become so tedious that risking your own money behind to look reasonable between the constant captcha, clicking clicking clicking, and waiting to build up to a minimum withdrawal so you can actually get your crypto. I know many people are gonna laugh at the notion of using faucets and the like and that's fine, remember these are not to make you rich they are a means to get free crypto and use that to learn how to setup wallets, send/receive crypto, and most importantly turn into Dead presidents (Fiat currency). A few lessons I learned the hard way and hopefully you absorb something so you avoid making the same ones.

1.) Right but wrong:

Often times people copy the correct token address but it was on the wrong network. This one is easy for newbies when copying you receive address which if you don't know what I'm talking about then you haven't done probably one of the most basic and over time the task you will repeat maybe more than any other, it's easy to just click copy and then go over to sending page and paste and done...no necessarily, check when copying you using the right network as some coins can be sent on multiple networks that use different addresses. Every wallet is different but most have the network listed somewhere at the top or will ask you to verify the network if you encounter this don't just ignore this is important make sure you sending on the right network. The public address you use to send and receive is unique to your wallet. For example you cannot send Bitcoin to an Ethereum wallet and attempting to do so or accidentally could result in your funds being lost.

Most major networks have unique beginnings to there addresses.

BITCOIN: 1, 3, or bc1 - these 3 are all Bitcoin wallets and are interconnected so it's possible to send a wallet with 3 at beginning to a wallet with bc1 and any combination there of.

ETHEREUM: 0x - Most smart contract addresses will begin with this and that's because most all tokens no matter the Blockchain nativity are considered ERC20 tokens. (This is a concept I'm not completely knowledgeable on so many feedback would be nice)

There are a wide array of networks all of them with unique addresses so I'll leave it to the reader to do a little research of their own cause after all, "Leon can't do everything".

 2.) FINDING MEMO:

Make sure that the address your sending to doesn't require a memo. A memo is usually a short numeric code that is needed in addition to your address, the tricky thing is that some wallets require an address and some don't but some networks always require a memo so it's best to read up on this before omitting something important.

I have found 3 good applications that don't require a wait time and no minimum withdrawal to reach and best of all no faucetpay required these platforms are Mainnet wallet instant withdrawals, which means when you claim the faucet your coin is instantly sent to the wallet address you provided in registration.

Horizon Project:

CLICK HERE - Horizon Mainnet Faucet - Free ZEN instant withdrawal direct to wallet

Zen wallet that is recommended because using a verified address gives you a 2x boost on claims.

Horizon Android Wallet

IOS Wallet

Desktop Wallet

Zero Protocol:

This faucet is a little different in that it is a type of game where you can level up a dragon but the principal is the same. It's fast and easy. Claim then click withdraw.

ZeCash Token:

As far as ZEC wallets go you can pretty much find that token on every wallet out there.

So there's a few more ideas to maybe help you begin your crypto journey.
