The balcony garden season is slowly coming to an end. There are still a few green tomatoes left, and one pepper is even flowering, but I'm not counting on a large harvest.

However, as an experiment, I'll move one of the boxes indoors and use a special light bulb during the fall and winter. I'm curious to see the results.
I'm pleased with this year's harvest, although some pepper varieties haven't reached the desired size and color. Unfortunately, the lack of sunlight took its toll, especially since my balcony faces east, and even with a clear sky, the plants only get about 5 hours of sunlight a day.

However, considering that the entire operation was organic, without any fertilizers or pesticides, the results are very satisfactory.

I already have several jars ready from the previous harvest, and more are coming soon.

It brings me great joy to open a jar of salad I made from scratch, and I often get to share it with friends.

My exotic plants are also doing great. My passion fruit and kiwi are growing like crazy and disease-free. Hopefully, this will continue.

I'm heading to the forest this week and I'm hoping to pick some mushrooms. They'll join the pepper, cucumber, tomato, and dried mushroom preserves.
