Spring, and especially its middle period, the end of May is the time for a show of beautiful flowers.
Near the Japanese garden in Park Śląski, there are several seedlings that are not accidental. They are seedlings of shrubs called Japanese rhododendron, or Azalea.
During this period, rhododendrons show their dominance, but azaleas, which are associated with the Far Eastern culture of creating gardens, exceptionally >attract attention.
Azalea seedlings have many color varieties, which is why they are a great material for arranging gardens. They go well with conifers, ferns and rhododendrons.>
Although it is not an easy plant to grow, it can be grown in containers on terraces and balconies. Azaleas differ from "real" rhododendrons in the structure of the inflorescence. They only have five anthers per flower.
