Today, however, I was lucky and a large number of great tits and blue tits flew in to feed. It is not known how long this thaw will last, but for now, I am happy with what is there.

It is not only tits that have come to feed. Jackdaws do not fly away to warm countries either and are frequent guests at the feeder. Another species that is not afraid of winter are crows. The charming nuthatches do not run away from winter. They are not afraid of harsh winter and always appear, regardless of the weather.
