The morning didn't look promising. Thick, low-hanging clouds heralded rain. However, shortly after noon, the sky cleared and the sun came out. A new chapter.
I changed my resting place to a more intimate and unusual one. The park service hadn't arrived yet to collect the leaves, so the scenery was extraordinary.

Walking along the main paths in the park was also extraordinary. Autumn can be quite surprising.

The birds are fed. Crows, jackdaws, tits, and sparrows remain in the dominant numbers. They seem to be sensing winter approaching.

And the evening sunset is becoming less and less exciting, as the horizon has shifted so much that the most attractive scenes take place behind the tall trees. But it's still lovely.
