Although the winter period is not a dead period for mushrooms, because there are many species that cope well with such weather, including edible species, the spring and autumn periods are much richer, colourful and abundant in pleasant experiences.

When I walk in the forest, it doesn't matter to me whether I find any edible mushrooms, it doesn't matter whether I find any mushrooms at all. What matters is the walk itself, which gives me incredible peace and at the same time enormous energy. I can wander like this for hours, without a purpose, regardless of the weather.

Nevertheless, I have never failed to come across some type of mushroom, regardless of the season. Because the forest lives very intensively all year round.

However, I prefer autumn walks, where the forest becomes multi-coloured. Mushrooms also become colourful and, above all, there are a lot of them in the forest in terms of species.

Mushrooms are unique because even the same species always look different and can always surprise you, whether in winter or during the mushroom season.

It's still winter, but in reality it's early spring outside. I'm looking forward to the first spring trip to the forest in search of spring mushrooms - not necessarily edible ones.
