The Silesian Rosarium is one of the largest and most beautiful objects of this type in Europe and in the world.

The rose garden was designed by prof. Władysław Niemirski and his team from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in 1965.

Ogród różany, został zaprojektowany przez prof. Władysława Niemirskiego oraz jego zespół z SGGW w Warszawie w 1965 roku.

After three years of construction, the opening ceremony took place at the First International Rose Exhibition. Over the area of ​​7 hectares, you could admire over 300 varieties of roses.

Po trzech latach budowy, nastąpiło uroczyste otwarcie podczas Pierwszej Międzynarodowej Wystawy Róż. Na terenie 7 hektarów można było podziwiać ponad 300 odmian róż.

Nowadays, the garden also looks wonderful. Rose bushes are certified plants, resistant to pests and difficult weather conditions, which makes them beautiful for a long time.

Obecnie ogród również wygląda cudownie. Krzewy róż stanowią certyfikowane rośliny, odporne na szkodniki i trudne warunki atmosferyczne dzięki czemu są długo piękne.

The season for admiring beautiful roses begins in June and lasts until the end of September. That's when you can saturate your eyes with colors. In the Silesian Rosarium, at mornings and at sunset, there is an incredibly beautiful scent of many species of flowers.

Sezon na podziwianie pięknych róż rozpoczyna się w czerwcu i trwa do końca września. Wtedy właśnie można nasycić oczy kolorami. W Śląskim Rosarium o porankach i przy zachodach słońca unosi się niesłychanie piękny zapach wielu gatunków kwiatów.

"Karolina went to Gogolin, and Karliczek followed her ...." This is a piece of the text of the song "Karolinka", known in Silesia. On the Rosarium there is a brass bench on which the legendary couple Karolina and Karliczek are resting.

Nawiązuje ona do legendy o młynarce Karolince i zakochanym w niej leśniczym Karliku, który pognał za Karolinką aż do Gogolina.
