Why Solana's Outages Are Really "NO BIG DEAL"..

By CodyMac50 | MyCripticLife | 21 Jun 2022

You walk into a store to get money out of the ATM and there is a sign saying, "This ATM is Temporarily Out Of Service, Sorry For The Inconvenience!"

It isn't cool when websites, or machines, or whatever we rely on to get stuff done, don't work properly, or are temporarily down for maintenance.

But we know that soon it will be back up and running normally and we can get back to our everyday lives.

Things break, servers go down, setbacks happen, and we accept it because it's normal.

It's like the Solana outages as of recent.

I'm no dev, and I know very little about programming, and code, and whatever else to keep a Blockchain up and running...(maybe like Bitcoin where you set it up and let it run and it does everything automatically.)

I am learning more and more about Solana, and stacking it daily, and Cardano as well.

I have done quite a bit of research on Cardano, so I have a pretty good idea as to what it's about, but now, my sights are set on Solana.

In my mind, I see both of these assets as better versions of Ethereum.

While ETH is going from PoW to PoS, there are still many hurdles and setbacks.

Cardano offers the same things as ETH, but already on the move.

Solana is my #2 option, (only because I am still reading and learning more about it) and then ETH.

But recently, things have been happening on the Solana Blockchain that worry folks.

Growing pains...

It's just a setback and with setbacks come angry people...but we need to remember that Edison said after (10,000) several attempts at the lightbulb, "I haven't failed 10,000 times, I just found 10,000 ways not to do it.".

Maybe that wasn't his exact quote, but with anything, failing is a way of life, but we should keep the end in mind...

A society where it's peer to peer, and anonymous...

Take care and let me know in the comments below what you think about Solana...

Adieu!
