The group of 3 friends, 2 girls and one boy, had been fighting against an enemy for what felt like an eternity. They managed to defeat the enemy but in that process, one of the girls became stuck in a barbed wire fence. The other two friends, determined to save her, took turns switching bodies with her in an effort to ease her pain.
For a very long time, they worked to remove the barbed wire from her body, piece by piece. It was a slow and painful process, but they were determined to succeed. Finally, only one piece remained, lodged between the princess's teeth. It wasn't clear if it was just through the teeth or if it had gone deeper. During one of the body switches, one of the girls, not the one that owned the body, decided to remove the last piece. She pulled slowly, enduring the pain, until the wire came out.
Initially, everything seemed fine, so she switched places back with the girl that owned the body, which in fact was also a princess in that realm. The princess was relieved to be back in her own body and rid of the wire, but shortly after she started bleeding heavily from her mouth. She had only a few moments to write a small goodbye letter to her family before she passed away.
The other two friends were devastated and terrified. Knowing that they had taken the princess's life by removing the wire, they were feeling guilty. They had not consulted with the princess's family before making the decision to remove it, and they knew that if the truth were to come out, they would be hunted down for killing the princess. With that in mind, they made the decision to bury the secret with the princess, so they chopped the body into pieces and did so that nobody would ever find any.
As years passed, many investigations followed. Detectives repeatedly analyzed the letter left by the princess, which had spots of blood on it, and harshly interrogated the two surviving friends, trying to uncover the truth. Despite their efforts, however, the truth remained buried, and the two friends lived the rest of their lives in fear of being discovered. They lived with the guilt of their actions every day, knowing that they had caused the death of their dear friend and princess.
