Top music artists no longer with us.

So many music legends have left us recently but who do you believe is the best of the bunch. Here is my list:

(1) Michael Jackson - A troubled soul with an amazing talent. One of the greatest ever videos with Thriller and loads of smash hits including Billie Jean, Beat it, Man in the mirror and many more.

(2) Whitney Houston - Gone too young but will always be remembered for The Bodyguard along with 'I will always love you'.

(3) George Michael - Songs like Last Christmas and Fastlove will never be forgotten.

(4) Prince - Raspberry Beret, Kiss and Purple Rain never mind 1999 are unforgetable.

(5) David Bowie - Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and a very different theme in Lets Dance showed his versatility.

(6) Marc Bolan. Gone quite a while now at a young age. In a short time had a stream of hits.I love to boogie, Telegram Sam, Get it on, Hot love to name but a few.

My top 80s bands

I have always loved 70s and 80s music but this last 4 or 5 years I have been going to Lets Rock concerts which feature 70s and 80s artists. In my opinion the top 80s artists are: (1) ABC (2) Duran Duran (3) Depeche Mode (4) Spandua Ballet (5) Aha (6) Heaven 17 (7) Thompson Twins (8) Jimmy Somerville (9) Human League (10) Howard Jones In my post I will explain why I have chosen these groups.
