Sometimes I feel that life has become too monotonous with no variety or having nothing that could well be listed in the interesting category despite being involved in too many activities. I have a lot of reasons to believe that I am busy with too many useless activates that I could have avoided with some of my own efforts.

Actually, some of us are spending so much time on the internet or should I say “on screen’ on different gadgets including phones, smartwatches, or the latest gadgets coming out in the market on a daily basis. They all make us restless. In fact, some of us are too busy or should I say addicted to the internet for a purpose or even without purpose, using our phones, texting and constantly checking social media sites, giving and expecting likes, updating status, etc.
The fact is, with constant use of gadgets we remain in touch with our friends and relatives, but the real joy of meeting them in person has taken a back seat. We enjoy playing games on our gadgets, but the joy of physical activities has been reduced drastically. We buy online, but the joy of bargaining in the actual shops and window shopping has become a matter of the past.
Gadgets and more gadgets
There are so many other things that I can quote here in favor of or against online activities. I also feel that our life is not the same as what it used to be 10-12 years ago but something beautiful is out of our life or missing being too involved with various gadgets.
Don’t you think that this is taking a serious toll on your life and has its own effects? Seriously we can’t deny this factor, or can we? Sometimes I feel that life is nothing, but I am walking on the same beaten track right from early in the morning until late at night when I go to bed.
I feel that social media with instant feedback gives us false pride of being popular which show in the form of ‘Likes’ or it feels great to read comments coming from the friends what they feel about us on different posts but at times it gives me a feeling to meet them personally and see their smile, their real facial expressions which matter the most.
