India- A Different perspective
I was reading a post on Readcash that showed my original country India in poor light. I am not saying India is best in every field but India is not as bad as that post reflects. But then that’s true for any country. For instance, the US and UK are no better. Most countries in Europe and Africa have their own quota of poor and rich places, difficulties in every field. Asia is no different.
Let me also accept the fact that I live in Australia for a very long time and work in the marketing sector with a multinational but basically I am from India so I know a lot about India and its culture. Yes, India has certain problems that we are trying to ratify, but the positive facts definitely outclass these flaws. This is all about how you look at the facts.
Let me give you certain facts about America and England here- Do you guys know what are the places in the world best know for discrimination between sexes, races, and castes and?
Try to find it out
America, England, and I will not spare Canada or Australia if poverty is the topic
May I add Oldham, Greater Manchester, which was once the largest cotton-producing area in the world? But no more, the foreign competition from countries like India, Bangladesh, and China left it struggling to find an alternative source of income. Today this part of England is the poorest town in Britain.
I can give you 40 more areas in the UK where people are bagging on the streets or singing for pennies.
Does anyone know about the poor population of Birmingham or the town of Robin Hood, South Shields, and Blackpool? And if you wish to witness the poverty visit The East End, London’s poorest area.
Does anyone know about poverty in Canada or Australia? No? I have seen hungry people bagging on the streets of Sydney and Ottawa with my own eyes. I have seen people sleeping on the footpaths of various so-called rich countries. I have seen women getting thrashed in public in so-called developed countries. But some of my learned people believe that showing India in poor light sells.
The name of my country is India NOW but also called Hindustan or Bharat. India is the largest democratic country in the world. Its population is over 1.37 billion. In India, the people elect the government. People in India follow various religions but mainly Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, and buddhas.
Over 1000 languages spoken in India As of today, and the Indian constitution recognizes 22 major languages. In India, there is a common law for all people. India allows people to follow their own religious beliefs.
India is a secular country with different ethnic groups with diverse cultures. Due to which people come here to visit from abroad as well. India is a great and self-reliant country. Here everyone has the right to freedom. Here, there is no discrimination like caste, gender, etc even if some people try to spread hatred.
Everyone has equal right to progress in India but some people want to earn without doing work like in many countries that live on the dole, also known as no work allowance. India is progressing rapidly.
People are facing severe problems because of illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, etc. The national festivals celebrated with much fanfare in all parts of the country as Independence Day on 15 August and Republic Day on 26 January are worth watching in the Capital City of New Delhi.
This might surprise some but there is an unknown number of deities worshiped in India. Even though there are many states in India, and the way of worshiping is different, but there is no difference in the faith of God in the mind of every Indian, they might belong to any religion or sect.
That is why I love my native country very much and say India is great. Truly, India differs from the rest of the world for its geography, locations, and cultural diversity, it is unique in the world.
The Himalaya Mountains in the north of India and the Indian Ocean in the south are its feet. We have the Arabian Sea in the west and the Bay of Bengal in the east. India blessed with snowy hills, deserts, plains, green valleys, sea regions has a lot to offer to visitors from various parts of the world.

You can’t find them all in one country. But India is different, having world-class beaches here. India has the best hills-resorts in the Himalayas, Vindhyachal, and various other mountain ranges, including Neelagiri. India has some of the best architectural beauties scattered all over the country. It seems as if Mother Nature has decorated India with her own hands. India has four kinds of weather, Winter, spring, summer, and rain.
India has hundreds of rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Krishna, Kaveri that provide irrigation and drinking water. Minerals like gold, silver, coal, etc, diamond, silica, bauxite, and uranium are in abundance. Indian Railways is one of the largest rail networks in the world. India always shows the world the path of peace, truth, and non-violence.
Many outstanding personalities born here and showed the world the path of knowledge. A book like the Vedas, and epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata, composed in India. In India, there are excellent specimens of object art, craft art, and handicraft beside architectural beauties.
India is an agricultural-based country, with different crops, and grains produced here. Today India exports food grains to various parts of the world, which strengthens India’s economy. If we talk about India’s agriculture, then India is among the top 3 agricultural producing countries of the world.
India has made drastic progress in education as well. Today various educational colleges and universities are providing world-class education in India and students from around the world come here for the same.
Students from outside countries especially, Asia, Africa, and Europe come to India for joining engineering, medicines, and management education. Indian students are making their name and country proud in the largest IT companies in the world. Do you know where the people in the list below got their education?

India has contributed in almost all fields. India has been stepping ahead in the field of education, art, and culture. Along with this, the reason for India being great is also the progress in the field of science. India has made a lot of progress in science and technology.
Science has made many discoveries in almost all the countries, but in this period India has not lagged behind. There are such great scientists in India even today, who have made such discoveries, due to which the name of our country is taken proudly. Does anyone know who invented ZERO (0)?
The scientists of our country who have helped to make our country great, like CV Raman, Jagdish Chandra Basu, Srinivasa Ramanujan, and many more, have contributed a lot in all the fields of physics, medical science, astronomy.
Now the industrial development in India is growing very fast. In the last few years, big businessmen and IT companies from all over the world have invested a lot in India. All the biggest companies in the world have opened their offices in India today. This clearly shows that now India has become an IT hub and a technology hub.
Does anyone know India donated 60 million Indian-made COVID-19 vaccines to various countries when there were not so many cases of Covid in India but now we are facing an acute shortage of vaccines? But trust me India will vaccinate every Indian by the end of this year? After all, we have close to 1.38 billion people that have to be vaccinated.
Modern medical equipment is available in India, which are produced in India as well imported from various countries that have helped progress India a lot in the medical field. Government hospitals are present in all the areas, from small to big, due to which people are getting better medical treatment.
The government is also providing free door-to-door vaccinations for all major vaccinations so that we can prevent even the biggest epidemics. But as we all know the number of people living in the country and controversies generated by some vested interest mar the purpose.
No doubt about the fact, India is far ahead in the fields of science and technology as well. Scientists in India are inventing new technologies continuously. Today India has reached space in a big way. India is the leader in low-priced technology as a satellite launching pad and I am proud to say that Indian launched satellites for various countries are revolving around the earth.
All the people together face any disaster that comes to our country. If any disaster strikes any person, then all the people are always ready to help him.
Such is our country, our country of India is great. Love lives in every tiny particle of Indian soil. And mind you this is not only us but other countries also testify this barring a few that see the opportunity in negativity. India is a beautiful country, where the morning begins with the songs of cuckoos and the chirping of birds.

In the end, I want to say this much-
Nature has provided a beautiful environment of greenery all around the country. India is really great because despite being a slave for many centuries to different countries we haven’t lost our culture or language.
Despite remaining in slavery for centuries, there has been no change in the people’s mindset here. Even today the fragrance of the soil is the same and people are not afraid of putting their best despite all the loot conducted by foreigners for a long time before India got her freedom in 1947.
The Indian workforce is ready to give their best and the farmers are doing hard in the fields to produce enough for local needs and for the world’s hungry population.
Now new policies are coming to replace that will take India to the international levels. We all know that all countries have to ensure higher standards in terms of safety and quality to be in the competition.
The major concerns imposed are the health implications at both the national and international levels. We have come to a point where there is no looking back despite all the drawbacks.
No doubt about the fact that India has certain pockets which are comparatively poor and overpopulated but isn’t that true about the USA? For instance, Willimantic in Connecticut or Helena in Arkansas, and Selma in Alabama and not to forget Clearlake in California. Has anyone checked the poor places in New York state or the most dangerous places to visit Ten Most Dangerous Places In New York After Dark? No??? Just try it!
country culture
India is great because India has a combined packet of cultures. There is a lot of unity here, the culture here is unique. The unique cultural heritage in India is diverse yet blends well. Even foreigners promote Indian culture, that one can see going to places in Himalayas, South India, and North Indian cultural centers.

Millions of tourists visit India for witnessing the great tourist attractions like Tajmahal, magnificent temples, and mosques besides spending their time on great beaches that India offers at a very attractive price. Our culture has attracted many countries. Who wouldn’t want to spend their life in Kerala, God’s Own Country, or on the beaches of Goa?
