There is a topic in debate on the ETH 2.0 issue that Will the Ethereum 2.0 Genesis Event happen successfully on December 1st, 2020?

Weeks ago the Yes volume was greater than the No volume but gradually decreased. Until the 13 Nov , the reverse happened to the predictions, it was the No volume raising up and the Yes volume going down. It is currently Yes 0.36 vs No 0.64.
This prediction reflects that the people don't think the Genesis Beacon Block of the ETH 2.0 can be happened by 1 Dec 2020. But why the people loose their confident.

Regarding to the ETH 2.0 launch pad as of Nov 19, the only 104,608 ETH already staked and counting which needs to reach at least 524,288 ETH by 16,384 validators to launch the mainnet. So that there are 419,680 ETH more to be staked to enable the Beacon. This number can be said that the progress is now only 20% and more 80% to reach the threshold, and by the time line factors it is not easy to touch the launch.

However, we have few more days to catch the eyes on this project, anything can be changed. The confidence may be back to people, we wish that there will be some Grand-master investors who would like to support the ETH 2.0 come up to this time. We are waiting to see since the ETH 2.0 seems to be advantage to people and crypto industries once completely launched.
