As of the previous post about the Ethereum symbol. I also curious if the word Ethereum means anything relate to its symbol , then I have to create a new post again for additional other than the symbolic matter.

The previous post said that the combination of 2 pyramids in the Ethereum symbol seems likely from the Greek philisopher named Plato's theory of the Platonic solids. So, my thought is that, if it really regards to the Greek philisopher , it possibly the word Ethereum originated from Greek mythology also.

Once upon a time, there was the offspring from Erebus and Nyx named Aether, which means the Bright Upper Air. The Aether summons the pure upper air for gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air breathed by mortals. This is very relate to the symbol of Ethereum in Octahedron shape based on Plato's theory saying that Octahedron demonstrates to the Wind.

After the come of Aether, the world is bright and fresh. Just like the come of the Ethereum, its goals are to overcome the limits of Bitcoin and our old world technologies, other than that it enhances the blockchain technology in many different ways such as dApps or Smart contracts. We have already stepped out from the old world and now breathing a new pure fresh air from Ethereum. The Ethereum gives us new valuable experiences in blockchain ecosystem just like its name.
