There are many ways to mine cryptocurrency. You can mine with GPU Mining rigs or ASICS, you can even mine with Laptops as well. But something we cant mine on is our Mobile Devices like phones, tablets, etc.... Or can we? And are those ways Worth your Time and Profitable?

What is Pi Network?

There is one very dominant way to earn crypto "mining on your phone". It is called Pi Network, it is an app where you will collect a unreleased crypto for free. Without using any phone power or performance. This currency is called Pi Coin and as of 8/5/21 has over 21 million users. Pi Network was developed by a team with Standford PHD's. The founder is Dr. Nicolas Kokkali's. His goal was to make blockchain technology be available to everyone. Pi Network is available to everyone that has access to the internet and the app store or google play store. To make an account you need an email and a name. Which does make it almost too easy to earn! Basically you earn this coin while your sleeping and while your phone is off! You will even collect coin while your phone is off, and when the app is closed.

What can you do with Pi Coin?

You can sign up for the Pi Network Marketplace, where you can spend your pi coins to buy and sell stuff. Like New or Preowned Goods. Just like if you were to transfer your crypto to USD and buy stuff on amazon. Note, this crypto is not fully released yet because they are trying to get enough people so when they release this crypto on exchanges it will be worth 100$ per coin!!! Why you ask do they want to start at 100 per coin? There current buying and selling system works of off 100$ per coin. So if you were to buy something off of the marketplace for .25 pi coin that would be equal to 25$ USD. Although the marketplace is in its early stages, there are thousands of members that are participating in this.

What's the Catch?

But what's the catch? Remember how I said earlier that there are over 20 million people on pi network collecting the coin? Well there are only around 20-30k people participating in the buying and selling part which would back the crypto to benefit everyone so when it launches it would launch at a high price. What this project needs is not funding or publicity. It needs the app users to learn more about Pi Network and to participate in the marketplace so they currency can get into Phase 3, and fully launch.

Conclusion:

Overall this project is one of my favorite projects related to crypto and I would highly recommend.
