I am now only using my small fan that I bring along with me when it is my dialysis day. It is because it gets so cool especially at night even until the early afternoon in these days of the cool months.

I am always under the blanket because my body doesn't have much fat layer to protect or insulate me from the cold temperatures. My hands and feet gets to be so cold which is why it is so uncomfortable and using the regular electric fan is a no-no for me now.

Well that is good for the electric bills which is why we will definitely save-up some money because I am not using the regular electric fan anymore but my small portable fan that I think will really last because it is a type that has no contacts unlike the portable fans that I used a few years ago, so this time it would not wear and tear that easily.

Anyway unfortunately the cold season is not really making me comfortable especially during when I have to take a bath prior to my dialysis if my schedule was at so early in the morning. So my mother would insist that I use a bucket with warm water in it so that I will not get to shiver whilst cleaning myself-up in the bathroom.

My parents are also feeling the blow of the cold weather. A few years ago my Mother can just tolerate the cold when she was younger. But now she is just complaining about it, maybe because of her old age but I she just lost some weight over the years.

I just told Mother to take some iron supplement so that her blood would get to oxygenate her body more and with that her resistance against the cold. I experienced that my self because I had been anemic for so many years and after getting some blood transfusion I would feel resistant to cold showers again.

I just needed to wait for about two months before the weather turns into a favorable condition but even though I would call it favorable it doesn't mean that it is comfortable. At least I am more liberal with my fluid consumption by then and I get to not be filled-up with fluids fast because in those instances I will be perspiring like cold glass of water on the table because of the kind of weather we go here in my neck of the woods.
