Seltsame Epigramme für zwei Glasharmoniken: VII. Bourrée [Philip Daniel; 2020]

Seventh in a series of deeply intimate "strange epigrams" for two glass armonicas, exploiting the ethereal qualities of this instrument. Another dance, this time a vivacious, relentless, even clamorous Bourrée in characteristic alla breve time. Note the rapid tempo, particularly high expectation of virtuoso technique, and the inconclusive coda on what resembles a dominant tetrad in inversion with a striking false relation. The painting in the video is "The Concert" by Hendrick ter Brugghen.
