I am no expert by any means, but I do have quite a few years experience in this field. There are legitimate opportunities that offer large rewards, but there are also many scams in the Crypto world! You should always consult with people you trust and do thorough research before you invest your time and money! I have been taken by a few scams throughout the years and I have acquired the a strong ability to spot them before being taken! Just because someone here invites you to follow their link to join a high paying site, does not mean it is legitimate! They may not yet realize that they are involved in a scam or in some rare cases, they may not care as long as they are getting their referral fees. On the very rare occasion, members of the scam teams go out and make posts inviting people to follow their links, in order to trap people! I have written a few posts concerning scams. It would be good, for you, to read them and give them some thought. Learn from my mistakes and experience!

There are many Cryptos out there that are not valuable and probably never will be. There is no solid program behind them (see their white papers) or they do not deliver what they promise. You should always seek information from trusted sources and do your own diligent research. For the beginner, I would suggest investing just a little money in several Cryptos, that you choose, and watch the market for a while! That way you will get a better feel for when and how you want to invest.

There are many exchanges out there. Many of them provide motivation for their members to recruit others. Choosing an exchange, to purchase and sell your Crypto, is very improtant. There have been several exchanges that have crumbled and disapeared with their customer's money! There have been exchanges, with weaker security, that have been hacked and the customers money was stollen! These exchanges had no insurance! There are several other vulgnerable points in most exchanges. 

Coinbase is the exchange I have always used, and probably the only one I will ever use! I would suggest Coinbase for the beginner. It is true that they do not offer all of the Cryptos available, but, they do offer solid and established Cryptos that are well founded and excepted! Their fees are very reasonable! Your account is extremely secure with Coinbase! You don't have to go around worrying about someone stealing your holdings! Your account is insured in the highly unlikely event that they were somehow comprimised! Coinbase is Headquartered in The United States! You can exchange your Crypto, for other Crypto, at no charge! Many other exchanges charge you to do that! It is simple to use and safe to store your Crypto! You don't have to learn how to use a wallet, right off of the bat! Yet, if you want to store your Crypto, in another wallet, you can do that too!
