Praise the Lord!  For His miracles are bountiful and endless.

The hardest thing about accepting a hand-up versus a hand-out is that from the ego's perspective, there is no difference.  We want to do things ourselves.  Prove to the Father that we are smart enough, wise enough, to not need his help.  

He knows when we get like this too.  Like clockwork, whenever I find myself slipping into a mindset of "glory be to me" and my amazing accomplishments, I get a stern  reminder that it is His glory and not mine. His wisdom and His plan.  And you know what's funny?  If I don't get the point the first time, it's not like a gentle reminder.  It's full-on pie in face, dirt eating mode.  And it always comes from somewhere it couldn't possibly have.  It's how you know it's the Lord at work.  

Lean into the Lord.  For his support is strong enough to carry us all.  His word is truth.  And the truth will set us all free.  For we are his children.  As we love our children so much, so too does the Lord love us.
