Glory be to God in the highest!  For in his infinite wisdom, all things are possible.  

Ever watched a small child hide from something uncomfortable?  The body language says it all.  Their little bodies squirming, their legs bouncing, their little faces hidden from sight.  And in their heightened sense of anxiety, do they seem to become oblivious to the obvious?  

All too often I find myself mentally burying my own head in the "sand" when I come  across something I don't want to see or experience.  And in that moment, like an ostrich, I leave my posterior lifted and exposed for the smacking.  Funny how we're automatically conditioned to prepare for redirection in those moments.  Always so focused on my own version of how things "should" be, but isn't that word "should" just an excuse for not changing?  

The Lord guides our path.  We will stumble and fall.  And He will extend His hand down to us and give us a hand up...not a hand out.
