Justin Sun, CEO of TRON, announced last week the creation of an ecosystem called BitTorrent X after reporting on the acquisition of the e-sports platform DLive.

The developer highlighted that the purpose of the platform will be to host all BitTorrent-related services in one place that will take advantage of the use of the BTT token.

"BitTorrent X represents the transformation of BitTorrent, a world-renowned peer-to-peer service from a software company into a conglomerate of decentralized storage and data protocols and content delivery platforms," ​​Sun noted.
