How did yesterday's bets perform? Would I make the same bets again, were my reads decent? Let's dive right into it!

Semelsberger vs. Williams:
This is my most confident bet today. Williams is still very hyped despite getting exposed again in his last fight for what he really is: KO or bust. He won't win any rounds versus a very active and durable Semelsberger. Those two traits alone make me take a look at the odds against Khaos Williams. Hmm let's see what we get...Oh! Semelsberger @2.34 /+134 (Pinnacle), that's another gift from the bookies.
RECAP: Well we got two things here that went wrong: 1. Williams looked much improved, showing muuuuch more activity and not only looking for single bursts. 2. Semelsberger was hesitant to put pressure on Williams and looked to counter with single shots. Even though Williams was so improved you could see that Semelsberger would probably have won regardless if he chose the (of course more risky) pressure game here. Don't blame him though, WIlliams hits like a mule and is fast. I still think it was a fine bet at the time, but after seeing Williams improvements, I wouldn't make the same bet again with that new information.
Erosa vs. Choi:
Erosa goes for it every time. He is pure offense, lacking defense and chin. He got decent cardio and won't stop until he is knocked silly or gets the win. I think he will make this an action fight, and either one of these guys will get finished in the process. Taking Under 2.5 Rounds @2.12/+112 (5dimes), but not really sure if half a round is worth the price difference when "ends inside the distance" is @1.87.
RECAP: Erosa once again lived by the sword and died by the sword. You can only feel for the guy, he truly lives this. His chin and defense just keep failing him. As for the bet, it was a good one in hindsight, too. You could argue that Choi by KO/TKO @3.6 was the better one - Erosa just didn't have any success at all and Choi sniped him from the start. Still a welcome win at plus money.
Grant vs. Vera:
They actually fought before in 2016, and I don't think very much has changed since then. Both are game as they come and we will see a close fight again where I happily bet the underdog Grant @2.88/+188 (Pinnacle). Vera was faaaaaar more active than Grant and fought a lot more, but Grant looked good in his last one, too. I don't think activity will play a role here.
RECAP: Well a lot changed since their last fight indeed. Obviously both got better A LOT. I expected that but thought it would would even out and therefore not matter. But Chito improved his game so much, and Grant just didn't have any safe spots to catch a breath like in their first fight. Vera, with the chin he has, the aggressiveness and activity he demonstrated, can be a real problem when he fights like this. In hindsight I'd say the line was right and there was no value on the moneyline to be made on either side.
Little bit of a loss streak, but that's the variance in the game. I'll keep a reflecting with a cool head, find good spots if they present themselves and don't chase losses. On to the next one!
