Contemplating the end of time
today, I say, still not decided if
Is it a heaven-like paradise,
some hell, or just
eternal nothingness.
I am fine
with the end of time.
I only lack that hidden
joie de vivre, as the French say.
And if I may,
and choose to stay,
April or May,
The wheel is turning,
again and again,
Be still, my men,
Get your best gear,
The end is near!
