Over the past two to three years, the landscape of crypto in Indonesia has experienced tremendous growth, particularly in terms of education and public awareness. In the early days, many Indonesians held a negative or skeptical view of cryptocurrency. Some were drawn into get-rich-quick schemes, participated in reckless trading, or were influenced by misleading promises from irresponsible individuals.
Fortunately, this perception is gradually changing. Today, credible information about crypto is widely available across social media, national news outlets, and local communities. Education has become more comprehensive no longer focused solely on price speculation, but now including crucial aspects such as:

Investment psychology
We now see a growing number of educational resources: crypto-related books written by Indonesians, online courses (both free and paid), and learning communities that help bridge the knowledge gap for newcomers.
From my personal perspective, this shift is a major step toward building a healthier and more sustainable crypto ecosystem in Indonesia. It’s especially impactful for millennials and Gen Z, who are beginning to realize that crypto is not a shortcut to wealth, but rather a powerful tool that must be understood with care and responsibility.
