Experimenting With a New Bot

By 0leh | Me and Crypto | 16 Jan 2023

Earlier I wrote that I launched a little more than ten bots for trading in various currency pairs. I trade on the Pionex cryptocurrency exchange, where all bots are available absolutely free.

Until now, I preferred grid bots. I prefer safety when setting them up, so I use a fairly wide price range. Therefore, even if the price drops very much, the bot continues to trade, making a profit even from small price fluctuations. According to my settings, the income of grid bots is on average 1% per month. Profits are highly dependent on volatility. You can also increase profitability by reducing the price range at which the bot works.

However, I have been eyeing another type of bots that are also available on Pionex for a long time now. I was interested in the Martingale bot – trailing Mode. I will not tell you for a long time how this bot works, there is a guide for that. The work of this bot is well illustrated by the following image:

I just launched this bot, so I can write about the results later. However, I can already say that it works very well. In a short period of time, it only worked a tiny two cycles, so the profitability is small:

Since this is an experimental bot, I only invested $94.

The third cycle of the bot's work is currently underway, in which the bot purchases cryptocurrency by averaging the price:

Now I need a few months before I can make a conclusion about the work of this bot, but so far my expectations are positive.
