What got me into crypto?
My name is Marcus and like many of you before me I had no clue about crypto to start. Yet what is different about me is instead of how a lot of people got into crypto (Bitcoin and Ethereum) I actually had a friend talk me into it when Doge originally was at twenty cents. Now after learning more and more (As well as still holding and loosing on Doge) I have quickly become fascinated with the opportunities and the thought of the future with crypto.
How did I learn?
As previously stated I learned the very basics like what crypto was, how to buy it, and why is it important for the future from my friend but as much as I love him he definitely left a lot to be desired so I took it on my own accord to use places like Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and many more to push my knowledge to the semi next level and while I am still learning every day I can finally say that that I am comfortable with crypto.
What did I look for in crypto in the beginning?
To understand more and push yourself I find it is always worth looking back and seeing where you started and how far you came. In the beginning I am sad to say that I was all about the meme coins and anything that I thought would be a get rich quick coin. At that point I didn't really grasp the impact crypto was and could have rather seen it as a fun thing to collect. I did everything a new person does and regrets but I look at it as stuff I am still proud of only because it gave me experience and for that I am thankful for checking Elon's tweets every second of every day and watching Saturday Night Live for the first time in a long while only to be disappointed.
What do I look for in crypto now?
With the past being said now I look to the present and future and in my opinion not only is my future but also cryptos future looking bright. My whole attitude has changed in that short time and while memes were my beginning impacts are my future. I now look for and find cryptos with a pourpose and use. Weither it be Bitcoin because it is actually being able to be used at countless places or Stellar that aims to bring not only people closer but also making it simple for the every man, I now look to build the future for myself and crypto.
