How a Blockchain Protocol aims to change the Web

By Lynk Technologies | Lynk Protocol | 2 Nov 2021

Lynk is a Blockchain Protocol that is aiming to change the web by decentralizing it, making websites more scalable, secure to DDoS attacks and more.

Lynk works by being like a proxy for the website. Webmasters update their nameserver to the Lynk Nameserver and their website is connected to their propiretary Blockchain, called Lynkchain. The LynkChain previously took the Website data into it’s cache from the WebServer that has been connected to the LynkChain by the webmaster.

Using the Lynk Protocol, the websites are decentralized, censorship-proof and cannot be DDoS attacked.

Lynk also eliminates the risk of a man in the middle attack, by using it’s Validation Layer in the multi-layer Blockchain.

Lynk Technologies has also built a technology called DomSec, verifying the Domain, checking if it is on the Blacklist as well as verifying, that it is the right Domain. When a User sends a data request for the website to Lynk, Lynk sends a request to the DomSec Database, which then sends a pass or false. If the check passes, the request gets canceled and the website will not be shown to the user and if the check fails, the request will be continued. Lynk’s Token, HOST, secures the Blockchain by compensating the Node runners, thus attracting more Node runners and making the network more decentralized.
