DANCING IN THE DARK
To feel whole
Whilst falling apart.
To not lose sight
In the depths of dark.
To remain philosophical
Despite constraints of time.
To count blessings
And silver linings.
To remain fluid & open
When self preservation
Takes a hold.
To keep the temperature balanced
Between hot & cold.
Yes, fortune, they say
Favours the bold
But in allowing vulnerability
There is a strength
That is oft' ne'er told.
Feeling whole whilst
Falling apart
Beautifully human
Dancing in the dark.
