After a two-year hiatus, I’m excited to get back to writing and sharing my thoughts on the ever-changing landscape of cryptocurrency, privacy, and freedom. My break was unintended, but life had other plans.
Overwhelmed by Daily Duties
My daily responsibilities had grown to the point where they overshadowed my passion for writing. During this time, many significant events in the crypto space passed by, and I watched them unfold without being able to put pen to paper. From major developments in the space to the introduction of new regulations, my focus was elsewhere.
Yet, the itch to write never left me. I followed the news closely, making mental notes about everything I wanted to discuss. But those notes stayed in my head or in the ever-expanding Drafts folder.
The Rise and Fall of Privacy Protocols
The story of Tornado Cash is one, when I start blogging. Even I am not fan of ETH I followed development of this story with great interest. This privacy protocol, designed to allow users to obscure transaction details, became a lightning rod for controversy. Regulatory bodies worldwide started cracking down on it, viewing it as a means for illicit activity. These developments highlighted the growing tension between privacy advocates and regulatory authorities.
At the same time, KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements became increasingly aggressive across many crypto platforms and crypto projects. While intended to curb money laundering and other illegal activities, these requirements have raised serious questions about user privacy and the very ethos of decentralization. This shift has led many privacy-conscious users to question where the future of cryptocurrency lies- between innovation and level of regulatory pressure.

The Arrest of Samourai Wallet’s Founders
In the world of privacy-focused wallets, the arrest of the Samourai Wallet founders was a wake-up call. Samourai Wallet has been a strong proponent of privacy, offering tools that help users maintain anonymity in their transactions.
This event, alongside others, has made it clear that the debate over privacy in crypto is far from over. It also reinforced the importance of continuing to advocate for digital privacy rights and remaining informed about the developments shaping this landscape.
Why I'm Back: The Need for Open Conversations on Privacy
The ever-changing world of crypto, combined with the challenges to privacy, made me realize how important it is to share insights and perspectives. Blogging isn't just about sharing facts- it's about fostering discussions, questioning the status quo, and advocating for a future that respects individual freedoms.
Privacy isn't just a feature; it's a fundamental right. Cryptocurrencies like Monero (XMR) continue to emphasize this, offering users a way to transact without exposing their financial history. Monero remains one of the few options in the space that prioritizes privacy by default, standing as a testament to the original vision of digital freedom.

Stay tuned for more thoughts on Monero, privacy, and the future of digital freedom!
