A mission of business diplomacy on a global level
The Free Republic of Liberland made a dynamic mark on Southeast Asia this week as Vít Jedlička led a delegation to Singapore from 14 to 19 June 2025, as part of a high-level Pan-Official Business Mission. He visited Singapore on a business basis as a representative of the first and only Czech-originated layer-1 blockchain project to reach full execution.
A key highlight of the mission was the Czech–Singapore Business and Investment Forum, held on Wednesday, 18 June from 14:30 to 16:30. The forum served as a strategic platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to exchange ideas and explore synergies in blockchain, fintech, sustainability, and smart city development. The energy in the room was palpable as leaders from across continents came together to envision a decentralized, innovation-driven future.
The official itinerary also included exclusive visits to some of Singapore’s most forward-thinking enterprises and institutions — among them Kabam Robotics, Mastercard Innovation Hub, Sembcorp, and CapitaLand. Each stop offered insight into how technological excellence and green innovation are shaping tomorrow’s world — values that resonate deeply with Liberland’s own vision.
President Jedlička, known for his libertarian philosophy and global outreach, also held a personal lunch meeting with Mr. Tan Soo Khoon, the Ambassador of Singapore to the Czech Republic.
Ambassador Khoon is a veteran Singaporean statesman who served as a Member of Parliament from 1976 to 2006, making him one of the longest-serving MPs in the country’s history. From 1989 to 2001, he held the distinguished role of Speaker of Parliament, where he was known for his firm yet fair leadership. Since 2007, Mr. Tan has served as Singapore’s non-resident Ambassador to the Czech Republic, fostering diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
“Liberland was founded on bold ideas — and in Singapore, we’ve found a kindred spirit in bold execution,” said President Jedlička. “This visit marks the beginning of a new chapter — one where innovation, freedom, and enterprise cross borders effortlessly.”
Liberland plans to open a Singapore Representative Office during Token 2049, a global blockchain conference planned for 1-2 October 2025. If you plan to be on the conference or in the area, you are hereby cordially invited to attend the opening reception. Date and time will be specified on this website and in communication.
With a growing base of supporters and e-residents in Asia, Liberland’s presence in Singapore signals a confident step forward in its global engagement. Entrepreneurs, digital pioneers, and curious minds alike are invited to connect with Liberland as it builds bridges to the future — one mission at a time.
