I finally fixed my moka - which proves that AI can be useful for very important things that aren't important

I'm beginning to realise that AI can be very good at helping you with unimportant things that are important.

As in, important to you.

When we look at the universe, my coffee moka isn't a huge deal, but it is for me, because for about two months, I couldn't make coffee apart from instant coffee.

It all started when I switched to a new brand. I tried making some coffee with my moka, and it just wouldn't work.

The first thing I thought was that the filter needed replacing, which it did.

It was at least 12 months old and I figured it was time. I also figured it was clogged up. Which it wasn't, but I replaced it anyway. Except, I didn't.

I couldn't find the one I needed so I had to order it on Amazon, have it delivered to a friend who I knew would travel to the place where I'm living at the moment in a few weeks, then wait, and then I got the new filter yesterday. And it made no difference.

So I removed the bit in the middle, whatever that's called, the bit where you put coffee.

That was indeed clogged up. And bad. But I cleaned it thoroughly, and it still made no difference.

I took the moka apart - all seven individual components of it - and everything was in order. I just couldn't figure it out.

So I asked Gemini and it told me I was a fool.

Aside from the other options, Gemini said the problem was likely the type of coffee I was using, which was too thin, and as a result of which it just turned into mushy paste that wouldn't go anywhere and would just make the water boil and activate the security valve.

And Gemini was right.

I just made my first coffee with the new filter and it worked out great because I'm using a different brand - the one I was using before.

I guess that's my way of celebrating the new Publish0x app.
