Elon Musk has been ordered to court in the state of Pennsylvania over his $1 million giveaway.

To cut a very long story very short, here's what happened.

Musk, who publicly announced his support for Trump after the first (of two) assassination attempt on the former President and current Republican candidate, has launched a giveaway to award random voters with $1 million every day until election day.

It's important to point out that people will get $1 million to vote, period, which means they could, in theory, be registered democrat voters and vote for Harris.

This is very unlikely to be the case, probably, but it's theoretically possible.

But that's not the issue.

The issue is that with any giveaway come several legal challenges. The results have to be audited, it has to be clear whether it's a giveaway/sweepstake, they have to make sure it doesn't qualify as a bet or a gamble and so on.

And it is also apparently a crime to pay people to register to vote.

I gotta say, whichever way you're voting, this election is quite entertaining.
