Crypto Taught Me How Little I Know

By User_new | Learning_user | 4 hours ago

When I tried trading futures contracts in cryptocurrency, the coin wasn't BTC, ETH or BNB. It was BANANAS31 and I bet many of you haven't listened that. I thought learning a few basic terms would be enough in this AI era. But that wasn't enough.

At first, I was more excited than nervous. Every chart looked like an opportunity, and every trade felt like I was getting closer to understanding how everything worked. The more I explored, the more I realized I had only scratched the surface.

Then I discovered What is perpetual contract,

Then leverage,

Then stop loss,

Profit,

Commission/ realized PNL.

Every answer seemed to lead to five new questions. Every day every trade was a lesson for me whether it's a loss or profit.

Some trades made me feel confident, while others reminded me how quickly the market can humble you. There were moments when I questioned my decisions, but those moments also pushed me to learn more instead of giving up.

What I enjoy most isn't even the price action anymore and It is realizing how many different technologies and ideas connect together behind the scene.

The deeper I go, the more I understand how much there i have to learn. It's a strange feelings being completely overwhelmed and genuinely interested at the same time.

Looking back, I don't remember every trade I made, but I do remember the curiosity that kept me coming back and that curiosity is still the biggest reason I'm enjoying this journey and writing blog on Publish0x.
