Introduction
Gods Unchained is a competitive turn-based trading card game in which the objective of the game is to defeat your opponent's god by bringing its health to zero. A player can create a deck of 30 cards out of the many number of cards that they own. Before the start of the game a player chooses the deck they wish to play with and then they select one of the four available god power card. They then draw random 3 cards which are considered their hand. These cards require a specific amount of mana to be spent before they can be placed on the board. As they are placed on the board the card element take effect. Each card has strength points and health points. You can attack the opponents creature or god with the card that you already have on the board. These cards are minted on Ethereum blockchain and therefore then can traded as any other blockchain based collectibles.

The card in question: Atlas (Mythic)

Mythic is a one of the kind collectible card which is not available for tournament play. There is only one count of each mythic card printed. With roughly 6.8 million cards in existence, one can understand how rare these mythic cards tend to be. During the presale of the Gods Unchained, the buyer had a chance of finding these mythic cards in the sets that they buy. This is how the initial buyer got this card. This card was now sold at 210 ETH, roughly 31,000 USD on opensea.io marketplace.
Reaction
When the seller was asked about how he is going to spend the money he made with his sale he simply stated, "Bills. I'm a normal dude. Need a new roof and furnace."
This sale makes Atlas the second highest expensive Gods Unchained card, with the first one being Hyperion (Mythic) which was sold for 138 ETH which was 62,000 USD last year during the pregame sale.
