Dear Friends,
Do you ever think on what is the mindset of quiet people from your circle?
People who do not speak much, normally do not respond immediately to everything. They often do not openly come out with their emotions are often perceived by others as having no thoughts or feelings at all. However, in the reality, they can be quite the opposite; often, those who speak the least are the ones who think the most.
Being quiet is not always a sign of weakness at all. For some people, it is simply their nature. They prefer to listen to speaking, quietly observing the words, facial expressions and the emotions of others. They quite think before they speak, which creates the impression that they talk very little to everyone around them.
Many quiet individuals stay often with an inner world that remains unseen by others. They dream, reflect deeply and hold even small details close to their hearts always. While they may appear calm on the outside, a thousand thoughts could be racing within their mind. At times, what they feel far exceeds what they actually express.
Some people become quiet due to the emotional wounds sustained in their life. Experiences of being misunderstood, disappointments, losses or deep emotional can cause their pain that can trigger to speak less. It is not that they dislike people; but rather, they hesitate to open up easily, as trust once broken, it takes much time to rebuild.
An interesting fact is that quiet people often possess a keen understanding of others' emotions as well. Because they listen more than they speak, they notice things that others often overlook. Sometimes, they can grasp a person's state of mind without a single word being exchanged.
But, one should not confuse quietness with loneliness always.
Not all quiet people are unhappy; Many of them find contentment for their silence.
They prefer tranquility over the crowds, listening over speaking, and contemplation over outward expression as well.
So, the next time you see someone who is quiet, don't assume that they are not thinking about anything.
Sometimes, the greatest stories are being written in the minds of the quiet ones, far more than in the minds of those who talk a lot.
If they set their minds to it, they could even become a great human being!
Never underestimate silence!
Have a great time ahead!
