Today, we are going to cover on the sleeping giant- Polkadot which gets attraction.
At the time of drafting this article Polkadot (DOT) is trading at USD 9.35, an increase of 7% in the last 24 hours and 39% in the last 1 week.
It currently occupies at 11th place according to the marketcap in the cryptomarketcap.com website.
We have much anticipated that while the other alt coins have given 2X-4X, returns while the DOT was at a deep sleep until some time before the Polkadot began to skyrocket.
Let's get some technicalities on Polkadot.
Polkadot works at Layer 0. On top of which the rest of the chains connected to solve the problem of interoperability.
What is interoperability?- If we understand by taking an example, if we understand all Layer 1 chains as servers, and the data stored in each individual server will not be known on the other server, unless and until it is connected to each other. For eg, the data is stored on the BNB chain, will not be available in the Ethererum chain. This issues is a big challenge of Web 3 adoption. This is addressed by Polkadot. The upcoming project Manta, which had the 400k followers on Social Media -X (Twitter) before its launch. And this is also a parachain of Polkadot. So it is very clear that this Polkadot eco system is growing.
